Welcome to Her Embrace, home of the Silver Valkyries!We are a group who want to spread light and love to the hearts of as many as we can, in whatever way we can, and we do our best to help others do the same in a range of ways.Onsite, we have a restaurant bar with a wide variety of food and drink on offer. The Crystal Crown Cast also serve on special occasions, bringing an extra level of light and laughter to such affairs. The cast is also available for hire at other venues, should such a thing be desired.The Ballroom, where the restaurant bar is held, can also be transformed to host all kinds of events, ranging from talks to meetings, parties and shows. Whatever you want to host is possible, as we maintain a range of furniture and decorations within our stores for just this purpose.Had to travel a great distance to spend time with us? Worry not as we have plenty of rooms onsite for guests to spend the night with us, as well as breakfast cooked in the morning.Events not to your taste? Perhaps you are one of an adventurous heart? Fear not, being in association with the Limsan Adventurer's Guild, Her Embrace has the power to create and distribute levequests to adventurers who choose to come into our halls. Quests available include keeping Her Embrace stocked on various supplies, escorting and guarding individuals, retrieving artefacts and very specific hunting targets.If there is something we can help you with, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Our Spaces
The Lobby and LoungeLucy stands ready and waiting at the front desk ready to welcome all who walk through the door with open arms into this our bright and spacious place. To the left you will find our lounge, which is open to all, back left you will find the stairs to the Ballroom Bar, and to the right you will find our adventurer's supplies shop.
The LibraryA great many books line these shelves, all sourced from a great many places. If what you seek is not here, there is a chance that we may know where to find it. Please do not hesitate to ask Bibilo Bilo, who can be found keeping the shelves in order, or Lucy at the front desk.Please feel free to browse a list of examples of books we have on offer.
The Ballroom BarVersatile and large, our ballroom is able to be used for a wide range of events. From fancy balls to informative talks, and everything in between, our space can be changed to suit your needs. When not hired, the space serves as a restaurant bar space for our regulars, which is managed by Fraegeim.For our regular menu, please click here.
The Supplies ShopFrom potions to tools to guides on where to find things, you can find everything you need for your adventures. If we don't stock it, you likely don't need it!Some of our regular adventurers also bring back some interesting and varied wares which they sell with us. Please feel free to browse what is available.
The GardenThere are several different zones to the garden, which helps it to feel like an extension of the house. The views of the Rhotano Sea contrast with the well manicured space, but frame it beautifully. Should it be needed, there is a striking dummy around the side of the building for practicing.

InfirmaryShould you find yourself in need of healing, Morgana will do all she can to attend your wounds. Daughter of the Sharlayan-renowned Kayne Browne, she has practiced under him for several years at his clinic before she was encouraged to explore and take on the life of an adventurer.
Morgana's Office - Private Chambers Room 1Located in the apex of the roof at the back of the house, this is where Morgana is often found when she is working, and is where she will often take those who wish for a quiet word. When she is not present, the room is inaccessable.

Our Onsite Staff
Morgana BrowneThe proprietress of Her Embrace, Morgana is a studious woman of many talents; a talent she endeavours to use to bring a smile to those who would walk into the halls of Her Embrace. From healing, and managing the staff, to planning events and reading fortunes from the deck of sixty, many seek her out when they are in need. Lucy BurneGridanian born and raised, Lucy works as the receptionist and is ready and willing to help those in need. Possessed of somewhat of a fiery temper, she is quick to get things under control should patrons start bickering. She is trained in basic first aid and healing magic, but is ready to call Morgana should there be a major incident.Status: Non-Player Character - Consistently Around - Represented by the Materia Melder
Bibilo BiloKnown lovingly by her friends as Bibi, this dunesfolk is exceptionally prideful in her work, especially in Her Embrace's library. She has always been a great lover of books, and tends to be surrounded by them. Adept at magic, her skills range from thrumatergy to arcanima and beyond. She also has a great distaste for individuals who have a habit of causing issues with her work.Status: Non-Player Character - Consistently Around - Represented by the Journeyman Salvager in-game, played by Morgana on Discord
Fraegeim ZwynsyngwynKind and knowledgeable, Fraegeim has done her fair share of travelling over the years which have taken her to many far-flung corners of the star, including Thavanar, Hingashi and Sharlayan. The one thing she found a love for while travelling was conversation and the different kinds of drinks that people would share. She arrived back in Limsa Lominsa not long after the Seventh Umbral Calamity. Having witnessed the horrors from the sea, she felt it only right that she work to bring comfort to those who needed it. Knowing that most tend to turn to drink in their most dire times, she sought to become a bartender, that she may listen to the woes of those who came to sit in her company. One night, she was graced with the company of one of the members of Word of Love, who told her of their company. She made a point of getting a job with them the moment a vacancy was open. One of those who did not wish to leave for Hingashi, she stayed with the Valkyries and continues tending the bar to this day.Status: Non-Player Character - Consistently Around - Represented by a Junkmonger in-game, played by Morgana on Discord

SihviLittle is known about Sihvi, other than she is ready and willing to take on whatever task the staff of Her Embrace require her to do. She is well known for being fleet of foot and for being the one to most often take a night shift. Kaede TsuwamonoOriginally form Sui-no-Sato, Kaede has always had a fondness for plant, regardless of whether they are from above or below the wave. Though many tried to discourage her from it, she had been ever curious of the world above the waves. When a chance came, she was determined not to let it go, and found herself sailing all the way to Vylbrand. Lacking the further funds needed to get to mainland Aldenard, she used the last of her money to purchase tools and worked completing gathering levequests for the adventurers guild. She continued to do this until an advertisement for a gardening apprentice came up at Her Embrace. Kaede took to her new role like a natural and is always excited when new and interesting plants are bought her way, especially if they are colourful.Status: Non-Player Character - Consistently Around - Represented by the Mender in-game, played by Morgana on Discord
Philippe RoulemetA gentleman of Ishgardan decent, Phillipe has always had a love for cooking, and aims to learn and practice as much as he can in the kitchens of Her Embrace. The History of Her Embrace
Her Embrace has been something of a local landmark for many years, though its function has changed significantly over time. Located in the section of Moraby Bay that later became Mist, the estate originally started life as a network of caves in the cliff that was only accessible by sea, kept hidden by glamors and used by pirates to store their loot. The caverns were eventually abandoned when it became clear that a much bigger threat loomed on the horizon in the form of the Garlean Empire. Those who used the caves prior to the calamity failed to return. The land above was auctioned off by the city-state of Limsa Lominsa in a bid to encourage adventurers to settle and help the area prosper once more; the area would become known as Mist.While in the possession of Word of Love, the house was used as a base of operations for the Free Company. There they lived, worked and played as something of a family. Those who would become known as the Valkyries would frequent the halls, but seldom remain for too long, as their work would often call them elsewhere. Morgana and Mordred came to love the halls as if it were their own home (despite the fact that Morgana had worked to save the money to buy a cottage not too far down the road from the estate).There was great sadness when Word of Love announced that they would be heading for Hingashi, and there were many who wondered what should be done with the estate. The idea of selling it back to Limsa Lominsa was quickly discounted; the group favoured the idea of it staying within the hands of someone who sought to do good for the people as they did. All bar one agreed very quickly that the land should go to the one intending to stay closest. The one who stayed quiet was the one to find themselves with the estate; Morgana Browne has been uncertain that she would be up for the challenge.The origins of the name “Her Embrace” are uncertain. Some feel that ”Her” references Llymlaen, while others seem to think it is related to the watery embrace of a siren. When the land was bought at auction by the Word of Love free company, they took to calling it “Kingdom Hearts”, a place where every heart would be able to find peace. It was not until after the halls were entrusted to the Silver Valkyries after the bonding ceremony of Morgana and Mordred that this name was discovered. It was not long before Morgana partitioned the Valkyries to change the name of the hall to match that of the caves below, feeling that the myriad of meanings that could come from the name reflected the many-faceted project she intended to now house within. However, renaming did not result in all of the relics of the past being gone; the sign at the front of the house is still the original, the graffiti left by Valenth, leader of Word of Love, remains there to this day.
The Rules of Her Embrace
Her Embrace is both the Free Company house of Silver Valkyrie on Lich, Light Data Center, and an Open RP venue which also runs events on the regular. As this is a shared space, we have some House rules we request all to follow. As always if there are any issues please contact a @Her Guardian to help.- If you enter Her Embrace or the surrounding areas with the desire to roleplay, please use the RP tag to make people aware. Please only attempt to strike up an RP with others using the tag.- Please respect each other when using this space. This goes for both roleplayers and non-roleplayers; we want to be a warm welcoming space that everyone can feel at ease in. If there is any trouble that you cannot resolve yourself, please contact @Her Guardians.- Please keep all public chat channels in Her Embrace as Safe for work and keep the comfort of others in mind.- If there is an ongoing RP in public chat that has not been advertised as open on the #looking_for_roleplay channel on discord, please use /tell to ask the people involved if you can join before jumping in. If people are RP-ing in party chat this means it is a closed RP and you may be unable to join in. Please respect their right to say no.- If Her Embrace is being used for an advertised event please respect that event, whatever it may be. The staff are giving their time here as much as you are too enjoy yourself, respect them, please. While there are a lot of open events you will be welcome to join in with, there are some that should be booked in advance. Please make sure to ask the staff if you are unsure.- You will be given a half-hour warning before the hall is closed for event prep if the house is being entirely sealed off. This will normally last between thirty minutes to an hour before the event but may vary depending on the event.- During seasonal events, the hall will be decorated appropriately. The hall will not be closed for this, however, we advise that you ignore the changes happening around you as much as possible. There will be a warning, but you will not be required to leave.

Our Restaurant and BarThe Ballroom Bar is open around the clock when not in use for an event, enabling tired adventurers to get themselves a pick-me-up whenever they happen to walk through our doors. Fraegeim is usually there to welcome and chat to anyone who wishes for company. The space is also used to host The Crystal Crown Cafe.
Our LibraryHer Embrace hosts a whide variety of books that can be read or borrowed as needed. Including fiction, non-fiction and tomes you likely will not have seen before, there is something in these shelves to suit nearly ever taste or interest. Our Rooms and BoardBoasting eighty rooms for guests, several of which are reserved for those staying long term, Her Embrace makes good use of the cave network that extends beneath it in the cliff. Breakfast is served between sixth and eleventh bell, every morning. Please make sure to speak to Lucy if you expect your stay with us to be an extended one.
